Terry Duvall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crawford / Ray Funeral Home on Feb. 14, 2026.
Terry Lee Duvall, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2026, passing away peacefully and surrounded by love.

Terry lived his life guided by faith, kindness, and gratitude. He believed deeply in God's grace and sought to reflect Christ's love in the way he treated others - with patience, compassion, and humility. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and steady presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew him.

For 50 blessed years, Terry shared a loving marriage with his wife, Nechia Duvall. Their union was built on faith, devotion, and friendship, serving as a beautiful example of God's enduring love. Together, they created a home rooted in prayer, laughter, and unwavering support.

Terry was a devoted and proud father to his son, Bryan Duvall ("Chelle"), whom he loved deeply and guided with wisdom, encouragement, and faith.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved son, Bryan Duvall ("Chelle"); his treasured granddaughters, Ashley Duvall and Emily Duvall; his sisters, Darlene Pressley ("Kevin") and Lori Hicks ("Mark"); his brother, Roger Duvall ("Robin"); along with numerous nieces and nephews who were dear to his heart.

Terry trusted in the promise of eternal life and found peace in knowing that this world was not his final home. While he will be deeply missed, family and friends rejoice in the assurance that he is now resting in God's presence.

"Well done, good and faithful servant."

- Matthew 25:23

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 15, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Woodland Baptist Church, located at 545 Crabtree Road, Waynesville, NC 28786.

Terry Lee Duvall's life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his love a gift that will live on forever.
