Terry Lee Ferris, 71, of Canton, passed away at 11:13 AM on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Sunset Nursing Home in Canton. He was born on August 6, 1954 in Canton, IL to Hubert and Sharon (Palmer) Ferris. He married Michelle Wright on May 11, 1973 in Canton, she survives.

He is also survived by three children, Shelly (Jamie) Lee of Canton, IL, Lisa (Tommy) Lockwood of Canton, IL, and Jerad Strode of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Kayla (Jed) Bailey, Kevin (Mckenzie) Lee, Taylor (Alex Boley) Lockwood, and Dylan Lockwood; and five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Joseph Allen Ferris; and one brother, Jackie Eugene Ferris.

Terry worked for WABCO and Rohn as a welder and retired from Rohn. He was a member of the Canton Elks Lodge. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing the bass guitar and cards. He also enjoyed going to concerts with his wife and being with his family.

Graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton, IL. Pastor Curtis Atchley will officiate.
