Terry Eunice Gantvoort

Terry E. Gantvoort, born May 2, 1949, in Huron, South Dakota, passed away on August 30, 2025. She was the daughter of Noble C. and Olive Gantvoort, who preceded her in death, as did her sister, Dr. Kelly Gantvoort Morand.
Terry is survived by her loving partner, Carol Cooper; her sister, Karen Morsch; nieces Brenda Lough (Sharon Duell), Cheryl Potman, Kathleen Ruyak (Patrick Ruyak), and Laura Kratko (Shaine Kratko); nephew Bob Morsch; great-nephews Jeremy Potman and Jacob Potman; and her beloved pets, Peepers and Franklin.
A lifelong learner and dedicated educator, Terry earned both her B.A. and M.A. degrees from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado. She devoted her career to teaching special education at Alamosa High School, where she was affectionately known as "Miss G." After moving to Woodland Park in 1994 to be closer to family, Terry worked alongside her sister Kelly in her veterinary practice, offering support, care, and compassion to animals and their owners alike.
Terry's warm spirit, generosity, wit and sense of humor enriched the lives of those around her. She treasured her trips to Cripple Creek, where she made lasting friendships, and she held a deep love for both her family and her pets.
