Terry Lee Goben Sr., age 69, born September 12, 1956, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away at his home in Jefferson City, Tennessee.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth E. Goben Sr. and Lucy Goben; his brother, Kenneth E. Goben Jr.; and his sister, Charlotte Cooper.
He is survived by his loving sons: Terry Lee Goben Jr. and wife Tiffany Goben; Andy Goben and wife Alycia Goben; and Jason Goben and wife Nicky Goben. He also leaves behind his brothers, Donnie Goben and Ronnie Goben; his sister, Sherry Wright; and his cherished grandchildren, Addison Goben, Bentley Goben, and Aaliyah Goben, who brought great joy to his later years.
Terry was retired from Cherokee Towing. He had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, horse riding, and roping. In his later years, nothing meant more to him than spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren. His love for family, simple pleasures, and time spent outdoors will be remembered by all who knew him.
Terry will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City, Tennessee. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m., officiated by Mike Vincent.
