Terry Alan Goodenough Jr., born on November 24, 1971, in Hampton, VA, passed away on September 21, 2025, in Yorktown, VA, at the age of 53. Terry's life was a testament to passion, perseverance, and love for the simple joys that made life meaningful.

A dedicated Construction Supervisor at Genesis Fiber Optics, Terry took immense pride in his work, where his leadership and commitment were evident in every project he undertook. His colleagues knew him as a man who not only worked hard but also built lasting relationships and inspired those around him with his unwavering work ethic and enthusiasm.

Outside of his professional life, Terry found joy and fulfillment in a variety of pursuits. An avid fisherman, he cherished the tranquility of the water and the thrill of the catch. Music filled his soul, while the open road called to him as he rode his motorcycle with the wind at his back. He had a knack for building cars and bicycles, transforming them into works of art with his skilled hands. Terry also had a green thumb, planting flowers that brought color and life to the spaces he loved most. His talent for decorating these spaces reflected his creative spirit and eye for detail.

Above all, Terry treasured the moments spent with his family. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Sydney and Ashlee Goodenough, and a proud grandfather to Elijah Goodenough Moreno. His son-in-law, Mike Moreno, and close friend, Kent Coleman, held special places in his heart.

Terry was preceded in death by his loving parents, Martha and Terry Goodenough Sr., and his grandmother, Mary Jeffeux. Their memories lived on in his stories and in the values he instilled in his family.
