Terry Hambric Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by North's Funeral Home - Abilene on Jun. 10, 2024.
Terry Ruth Hambric passed away peacefully Saturday June 8, 2024 at 4:00pm in Midland Tx. Terry was born on May 4th, 1960 in Abilene Tx to Bobby Jack Hambric and Iva Ruth Dove and lived most of her life in Abilene, Tx. Terry attended Cooper High School and graduated in 1978. She was a member of both The Church on the Rock and Mission Of Abilene. Terry's working career consisted mainly of office clerical work at Hendrick Medical Center and outreach health services of Abilene. She was always ready to help where she could. Terry had a very strong love for GOD and she loved her Bible, she could quote just the right scripture for the right time. Terry loved her kids and grandkids and loved to cook for her family. Her chicken and rice casserole was very famous and everyones favorite. Terry would always be the first to get up from a family meal and clear the table and do all the dishes by hand. Terry would remind us of our late father Bobby Jack Hambric as she had his wit and sense of humor and could crack a joke at the right time and make us all laugh. Terry has three children (1) Jessica Elaine Singleton and spouse Dustin Hampton of Anson Tx (2) Travis Allen Porter of Fort Worth Tx and (3) Jamie Lyn Wright Flores and spouse Ruben Flores of Goldsmith Tx. Terry loved her her four grands very much, (1) Weston King (2) Evelyn King (3) Conner Reed and (4) little Madison Flores. They will all miss their "Gammaw" very much.
Terry is survived by her mother Iva Ruth Dove of Houston Txand her three sisters, (1) Fredda Hambric Jones of Houston Tx(2) Jamie Hambric Rogers of Abilene Tx and (3) Nancy Hambric Lopez of Abilene Tx
and all of the above named children and grandchildren.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
John Chapter 3 all verses was the last thing read to Terry before she passed and Her family rejoices in the comfort that She is with GOD and His Son Jesus Christ in Heaven. Amen
Graveside service will be held Saturday June 15, 2024 at 10am at the Abilene City Cemetery.
