Terry Lee Hines, III of Winter Haven passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 in Winter Haven.
He was born June 2, 2007 in West Palm Beach. Terry was going into his Senior year at Lake Region High School and worked at Red Lobster. He was a member of the Central Florida Smokin' Guns Team at Imperial Polk Gun Club. Terry was the president of the FFA Lake Region Chapter, where he competed in whip popping as well as showing goats and pigs. He enjoyed fishing, shooting, and he loved his truck "The Old S Box". He was determined to become an electrician and had the biggest heart ever.
Terry is survived by his father, Terry Hines, Jr. and companion, Shannon Cables; mother, Joni Gilbert; maternal grandparents, Brian and Judy Gilbert of Winter Haven; paternal grandparents, Cathy Andrews and the late Pete Andrews of Winter Haven, and Deloris Andrews of Texas; brother, Jorden Jewell of Winter Haven; sister, Jocelyn Lewis of Orlando; aunt and uncle, Toby and Carolyn; and many cousins.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Harvest at the Barn in Davenport with Pastor Shane Tyler officiating. Interment will follow at Davenport Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to Marion Nelson Funeral Home, payable to Central Florida Smokin' Guns, Terry's Shooting Team, for a scholarship to be established in his name.
