Terry Hockaday Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services on Dec. 18, 2025.
Terry Craig Hockaday "Pappy", age 69, of Texarkana, AR passed Friday, December 12, 2025, peacefully at home.
Terry was born January 15, 1956, in Nashville, AR. He was a devoted husband, a caring father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father and mother - Jack Craig Hockaday and Mary Ellen Hockaday, his sister Leeda Sue Hockaday, his wife Debra Dalene Hockaday, and his oldest daughter Debbie Lynn Permenter.
He wore many hats over the years. He played football and rode bulls in his younger years. He was a highly skilled carpenter. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and even a pretty dang good cook. He met his wife, Debra, whom had 3 daughters that he cared for as his own for over 40 years. Those 3 daughters bore him grandchildren and their children that he would've fought a bear over.
He left behind his two daughters and one son-in-law, Donna Lee Bevis, and Jessica and Matt Woods; Twin brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Yvette Hockaday; Niece, Holly Hockaday; Nephew, Jeremy Palmer; One sister and brother-in-law, Jessie and Ronnie Koziuk; Seven grandchildren, Erica and Zach Lippard, Montana Lee Bevis, Craig and Blair Whitt, Kateland Rayne Turner, Alexia Nicole Beasley, Brynley and Cara Woods; a number of great grandchildren, friends, and other relatives.
Service information will be provided at a later date.
