Terry J. "Jake" Jacobson, age 73 of Westfield passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Born December 30, 1951 in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late William C. and Carolyn (Erickson) Jacobson. He was an Eagle Scout, member of the CV Anglers Club, Ducks Unlimited and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Jake married Ruth M. Poehlman on August 12, 1978, sharing 46 years together and raising two children. He was an entrepreneur and well known in the community for his range of businesses; Mountain Home Services, Airport Rentals, CC and Jacobson's Farm Syrup Company. He was an avid outdoorsman; bass and trout fishing, hunting, farming, golfing, shark tooth hunting and his passion – maple syrup. He was a die-hard Penn State and Yankees fan and checked a box on his bucket list by attending the World Series in 2024. Jake enjoyed TV series Oak Island with Billy and "squatching" with Kylee but most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Billy (Asia) Jacobson of Clark Summit and Kylee (J.D. Coccia) Jacobson of Bluffton, SC; grandchildren, Reed, Quinn and Aiden; sisters, Mary (Larry) Foor, Laurie (Michael) Buck, Kristi (Steven) Webster and Susan (Daniel) Clark and uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Jacobson. A Celebration of Jake's Life will be held at Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St., Westfield on Thursday, June 19th from 5:00 - 8:00PM. Memorial donations may be made to the CV Anglers Club, PO Box 21, Sabinsville, PA 16943.
