Terry Kessler

Terry Lee Kessler, age 80, passed away peacefully at Billings Clinic in Billings, MT with his family by his side.
He was born in Milaca, MN to Nathan "Bud" and Gertrude Kessler. Terry grew up on the family farm and graduated from Milaca High School in 1962. He served in the Air Force from 1963 to 1969. Terry served 18 months in Guam before being stationed in Grand Forks, ND. The Air Force taught him his lifelong trade as a Master Plumber. While stationed in Grand Forks, he met Sharyn Krabbenhoft in Moorehead, MN on April 29th, 1966, on a blind date and they were married on the same date a year later.
Terry and Sharyn were married for 57 years. They started their life together in Fargo, ND, moving to Cody, WY in 1979. Terry and Sharyn raised three ornery boys that were allowed to live to adulthood.
During retirement they split their time between Cody, WY and the Rio Grande Valley in Southern Texas. They enjoyed playing card with the numerous friends that were made in Texas at BRG.
Terry was an avid hunter and rockhound. He enjoyed woodworking, having remodeled the majority of their longtime South Fork home. He had a passion for making custom pens and clocks. Terry made all the frames for Sharyn's obsession with Vivi Crandall artwork.
Terry is survived by his wife Sharyn, his sons Greg, Steven, and Kevin (Catherine); his granddaughters Winchester, Emily, Lilly, and Tori; and great-granddaughter McClaine. He is also survived by his brothers Rodney and Alroy (Annette), and brother-in-law Alan Krabbenhoft (Kathleen), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
