Terry D. Kilts

COOPERSTOWN-Terry Darlene Kilts age 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, March 5, 2023, at Albany Medical Center. She had the love and support of her devoted family all during her stay in the hospital.
Terry was born on February 14, 1953, in Cooperstown, daughter of the late Frank and Shirley Slater Duncan. A lifelong area resident she was raised and educated in Milford. Terry's life revolved around her home and family. The memories of the aromas of cooking and baking coming from her kitchen will be forever remembered by her family as well as the outdoors cookouts and bon fires. In her leisure time she loved to sing and dance, play cards and listen to oldies and country music. To those who knew her would say she was a social butterfly. She loved to chat with all those whom she met. Terry was a lady who put others first. To her family she was always there for them in both good times and bad. She was a very special lady and will be truly missed.
Surviving her are one son, Chad Kilts and wife Nicole of Laurens a daughter, Dianna Kilts and her husband Joseph Sargent of Milford, two brothers, Joe Duncan and his wife Joyce of Richfield Springs, Ponch Duncan and his wife Teena of Westford, a sister, Dawn Covey of Dolgeville, eight cherished grandchildren, Selena Sargent Jorgensen and her husband Jacob, Brandon Sargent, Nathan Sargent, Onyda Kilts, Steven Kilts, Dallas Kilts, Jase Kilts, Beyonca Kilts, one great granddaughter Cora Jorgensen, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Steven, David and James Duncan. Calling hours for Mrs. Kilts will be on Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs. A funeral service will begin immediately after at 4:00 pm in the funeral home.
