Terry Leroy King

Terry LeRoy King, born in Durham, North Carolina, was a gentle and kind-hearted man,
deeply loved by his family and friends. He was cherished by all who knew him.
The tenth of eleven children, Terry was born to Bernice Richardson and David King. He
is survived by his beloved wife, Yvette King, with whom he shared 34 wonderful years
of marriage, his sons Khalil and TJ, his stepson Jared, his eight brothers and sisters,
and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and David, his
brother Philip, and his sister Roslyn.
Terry had a passion for music, especially New Jersey house music, and loved DJing.
He was also a die-hard fan of the New York Giants and Knicks and had a real love for
martial arts, particularly karate and kung fu movies.
In his professional life, Terry was dedicated and accomplished, attending graphic art
school and computer repair school and spending 25 years working for the state of
New Jersey.
Terry's legacy of love, dedication, and kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew
him.
