Terry Lee Klassen

Terry’s life began on November 3, 1955, in Newton, Kansas. He was the son of John and Thelma (Lewis) Klassen. Terry was a 1973 graduate of Inman High School. He was united in marriage to Cheryl Litton on June 27, 1987, at the Hoffnangsau Mennonite Church in Inman. Terry was a carpenter by trade and co-owned K and E Interiors, Inc in Whitewater. Terry worked on many homes, offices and the church in the area. He was a member of the Grace Hill Mennonite Church. Terry loved to go to estate sales and collected toy tractors. His greatest joy was his family which includes his wife of Cheryl Klassen of Whitewater, children Justin (Jennie) Klassen of Furley, and Emily (Andrew) Miller of Andover; grandchildren Gracie Klassen and Andrew Miller, Jr; his siblings Max (Brenda) Klassen of Buhler and Norma Klassen of Inman and several nieces and nephews. Terry passed away at his home on Monday December 23, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Thelma Klassen. His family will gather with friends on Sunday December 29, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at Grace Hill Mennonite Church where his funeral will be held on Monday December 30, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. led by Pastor Weldon Martens. He will be laid to rest in Grace Hill Mennonite Church Cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater is serving his family.
