TRUSTEE TERRY LEE LEVERETT, SR. "SKEET" entered eternal rest on Monday, January 29, 2024, at his residence. Terry Lee Leverett, Sr. was born on Saturday, April 20, 1957, in Augusta (Richmond County), GA. He was born to Maggie Stephens and the late Nathan McCladdie.
Terry joined the Olive Grove Baptist Church of Appling, GA at an early age, and he later became a Trustee. He received his early education as a student from the former Blanchard High School of Appling, GA. Terry received his certification in Carpentry and later became a Contractor. He was a member of the local union and retired from the Alvin W. Vogtle Electric Generating Plant commonly known as "Plant Vogtle."
In addition to his father, Nathan McCladdie, Terry was predeceased by a daughter, Brandi Leverett.
He was a beloved son, brother as well as a devoted father and husband. Our beloved Terry Lee Leverett, Sr. "Skeet" will be truly missed. He has left a lifetime of precious memories that will be forever treasured by those who loved him dearly and knew him well. Until we meet again Terry...you are safe in God's arms!
He leaves behind to mourn his passing: a loving wife, Renee Jennings Leverett; five loving children, Shawntrell Dawkins, Charles (Nailah) Leverett, Nicole Bush, Terry Leverett, Jr. and Erin Salazar; one stepdaughter, Jessica Currie; seven grandchildren, Marcus Jr., Kobe, Toddrick "TJ", Taylor, Kayden, Julian, Cali, and Daylan "Buddy"; a dear and loving mother, Maggie Stephens; seven siblings, Mary Douglas, Betty (Casey) Reid, Griffin (Sheila) Dunn, James Dunn, Susan (Eugene) Green, Wayne (Janice) Dunn and Maggie (Alfonza) Dorsey; three brothers-in-law, James (Vickie) Durant, John Durant and Tracy L. (Julie) Jennings; a godmother, Parthenia Tolbert; two devoted cousins, Willette Dunn and Carla (Robert) Clay; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
