MS. EBONY NICHOLE CARR, age 37, of Thomson, GA, passed on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, at her residence. Family members and friends may call at the residence or at the funeral home.

MS. EBONY NICHOLE CARR was born on Thursday, November 5, 1987, to Brenda Brewer and Ronnie Carr at the former Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the age of 37, our sweet Ebony departed this life as she knew it at her residence.
Ebony received her education through the McDuffie County School System, graduating in 2006 from the Thomson High School. She continued her education at the Virginia College, graduating in 2012 with a degree in cosmetology. Before her passing, Ebony was most recently employed by Amazon in Appling, GA. She was the happiest when spending time with her family and friends, dancing and styling hair.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: two courageous sons, Nykerion McGahee and Ebreon McGahee, both of Thomson, GA; a loving mother, Brenda Brewer of Thomson, GA; a devoted father, Ronnie Carr, Sr. of Thomson, GA; one sister, Tekelia Brewer of Thomson, GA; two brothers, Ronnie Carr, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY and LaMarcus (Crystal) Parks of Atlanta, GA; a loving and supportive companion, Zach Grant of Thomson, GA; five aunts, Patricia (Michael) Jackson, Patricia Smith, all of Thomson, GA, Willie E. Brewer, Yvonne Meyers, both of Augusta, GA Jannie M. Shank of Atlanta, GA; four uncles, Donald (Joyce) Brewer of Warrenton, GA, Sylvester Brewer of Thomson, GA, James (Joyce) Carter of Atlanta, GA and Johnny C. Carr of Evans, GA; five nieces, JaQuashia Hart, Janasia Hart, Martinisha Hobbs, Aceondria Parks and Syndi Carr; one nephew, Jarvis Hart; one great-nephew, Dallas Hart; father of her kids, Nick McGahee; two god-sisters, Kissey Sharpe and Rosalyn Rivers; five god-children, Jada McGahee, Xavier Stevens, Miracle Dozier, Jalaysia Paschal and K'Mora Clifford; six devoted cousins, Janice (Marvin) West, Starlisia Walker, Renae Daniels, Lawanda Ivey, Jacquavious Battle and Shanterea Martin; four special friends to the family, Susan Brown, Kimberly Brown, Kieseonna Brown and Amber Johnson; four close friends, Annette Grant, Stacie (Reggie) Dozier, Laquill Ivey and Sondia Jones; a host of additional cousins, other relatives and many additional sorrowing friends.
