TERRY LIEGEY Obituary
Born Nov. 3, 1948 in Clearfield, he was the son of the late Leroy and Freda (née Eger) Liegey.
Terry leaves behind a wife of 56 years, Linda Jane (née Graham); two daughters and their spouses, Angela Liegey Dougall (David) of Texas and Stephanie Liegey-Rinehart (James) of Arkansas; and three beloved grandchildren, Alaina and Graham Dougall and Cora Rinehart.
He also is survived by one sister, Sheila Rogers of Woodland; two brothers, Dennis of Brockway and Gerard and his wife Marla of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Terry was a 1967 graduate of Clearfield Area High School and a proud U.S. Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He loved old cars, and he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for companies, including Beckwith Machinery Company. He retired from SCI-Albion where he used his expertise to create his proudest achievement, automotive courses in which he provided students with the skills and certifications necessary to start a new life.
Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans (dav.org).
