Terry M. Mayer, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, was welcomed into eternal rest on July 13, 2025, at the age of 85. He was the widower of the late Eileen O. (Fitzgerald) Mayer.

Born on October 31, 1939, in Allentown, Pa, he was the son of the late Joseph and Virginia (Keen) Mayer. Terry served in the Army National Guard and was the proud owner/operator of Mayer's Well Drilling, a business he nurtured with passion and hard work. His contributions to the well drilling industry reflected his commitment to his community, and he was known for his unwavering integrity and strong work ethic.

Away from work, his passion was hunting, fishing and golfing. Terry hunted all over the world as a big game hunter. He delighted in conversations and gatherings held around his trophy room. Terry was a life member of Safari Club International. He was a founding member and past president of the Lehigh Valley Chapter. He achieved the Big 5 of Africa, The Grand Slam of North American Sheep and The World Slam of Bears of the World. He was a sport fisherman and fished many tournaments up and down the east coast and the Bahamas, while he captained his boat named "The Dry Well".

Upon retiring he spent time in Florida golfing and time in Westfield, Pa at his farm where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Terry leaves behind a loving family that will remember him fondly. He is survived by his son, Todd Mayer, and wife Tracy; his daughter, Kelly Glinski and husband Richard; his brother, Gary Mayer, widower of Mona; and his cherished grandchildren: Bradley Fosbenner, Derek Fosbenner, Gabrielle Glinski, Madison Glinski, and Adelaida Glinski.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 10-11 AM followed by a memorial service at 11 AM. Interment will follow in St. Mark's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lehigh Valley Safari Club, c/o Daniel Soliday, 1300 West Rock Rd., Perkasie, PA 18945.
