Obituary
Rev. Terry B. McIntyre, age 75, of Essex passed away peacefully on February 28, 2023. He is the beloved husband of 52 years to Lynda McIntyre (nee White); devoted father of Tawana Richardson and her husband Rev. Scott and T. Blaine McIntyre and his wife Amber; cherished grandfather of Tristan Richardson and his wife Kendelle, Taylor J. Richardson, and Anthony (AJ) Free; loving son of Dr. Ralph Jackson McIntyre; brother of Karen Cole and her husband Rev. Steve; also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Rev. Terry is preceded in death by his mother Bonnie Frances McIntyre (nee Houston).
Rev. Terry was a dedicated and loyal Pastor. Between 1969 to 1984 he was the Pastor of two churches. In 1986 he was a missionary in Kenya, Africa. From 1991 to 2008 he was the Pastor of the Life Center of Essex. Later he and his wife went to Fiji where he was a missionary from 2011 to 2019. Rev. Terry also taught at Open Bible Christian Academy from 2008 until 2022.
A viewing will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex 300 Mace Avenue, Baltimore MD 21221 on Thursday, March 9 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 10 at Open Bible Christian Church, 13 Open Bible Way, Kingsville, MD 21087 with burial following at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
