Terry Medlin Obituary
He shared 48 wonderful years of marriage with his high school sweetheart, Kim Tarlton Medlin. Together, they raised two loving sons, Josh Medlin (Rebecca) and Bret Medlin (Theryne), who carry on his legacy of integrity. He was a proud Papa to Clara, Micah, Phoebe, Everly, and Nathan, who brought him immense joy and laughter. Terry is also survived by his very best friend and brother, Vic Medlin (Sherlyn), and his sister, Andrea Kendrick (Bob Mark), both of whom he loved dearly.
Terry's life was a testament to his faith in Jesus Christ. He faithfully served in many church leadership roles. He had a heart for local and international missions. Terry worked in computer programming and analysis before joining his brother in the family business as a residential builder. His favorite past times were golfing, fishing, and traveling with his family.
A funeral service celebrating Terry's life will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2301 N. Rocky River Road, Monroe, NC 28110, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family invites friends and loved ones to gather for visitation from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM in the church sanctuary.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Greg Brouse and Dr. Jon Salo for their exceptional care and compassion during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions to the Missions Fund at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2301 N. Rocky River Road, Monroe, NC 28110, in honor of Terry's giving spirit and commitment to helping others.
