Terry G Page

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Terry G. Page, who left us on November 24, 2025, in Perry, Florida. Born on December 24, 1949, in Bay Springs, Mississippi, Terry lived a life rich in adventure and storytelling. He was a loving brother, remembered most fondly by his sister, Judy Jacobs, who held him in her heart as a guiding light and source of strength throughout her life.
He was drafted into the United States Army directly after high school and served for 4 years. Terry dedicated many years of his life to serving as an Equipment Operator for the State of Florida, where his commitment and hard work earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Beyond his professional life, Terry found true joy in nature; he loved to ride his side by side through the woods and cherished peaceful days spent fishing in the Aucilla River, Cabbage Grove, and in Wacissa. In order to start his day off with good company, Terry always called his best friend, Jimmy Lundy. He delighted family and friends with tales spun from his many adventures, each story reflecting his zest for life and ability to find wonder in the world around him.

Most importantly, he was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church for 10 years. Every Sunday, you could find him greeting others in the back of the sanctuary. On the third Sunday of every month Terry participated in Oakland's worship service in Cabbage Grove. He loved talking in fellowship with his pastors, Bro. Ben Kimmell, Bro. Dwayne Searcy, and Bro. Danny Lundy.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Page and Shirley Page; his sisters, Mary Beth Holloway and Shirley Wellham; and his brothers, Jerry Cheezum and Jimmy Cheezum.

He is survived by his sister, Judy Jacobs (Danny); his brother, Samuel E. Page "Earl"; two nephews, Lucas Jacobs and Josh Jacobs; and many more nieces and nephews.

The family will gather to honor his memory and celebrate his life in a service to be announced at a later date.
As we mourn the loss of Terry, we remember a soul whose spirit embraced the wilds of nature and whose heart was open and generous. He will be dearly missed but forever cherished in our memories.
