It is with great sadness that the family of Terry Presley announces his passing on Tuesday October 3, 2023 at the age of 75.
Terry was born July 5, 1948, in Dallas Texas to Jim and Kathleen Presley. He served in the U.S. Army May 9, 1968 until being honorably discharged in 1970.
Terry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lynda Presley, their children Terry Wayne Presley and Jana Walker, husband Mark Walker; grandchildren Sabrina Frost, husband Brook Frost and Dylan Walker, wife Kelsey Walker; great grandchildren Presley Frost and Oliver Walker, sister June Mason, husband Jeff Mason. Terry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Kathleen Presley and brother J.C. Presley.
Terry’s greatest joy was his family. He was a man of integrity and a successful business owner. Terry had many friends and was always willing to help in any way he could. He loved his “breakfast meetings”. He lived life to its fullest. He loved working in his garage, in his pastures on his tractor and loader. He had many interests including guns and making bullets, sprint cars, working on antique car motors, watching reruns of old movies, and spending time with his great grandchildren.
Although we cannot hold him, we will never let him go, because in our hearts he will live forever, because we loved him so.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday October 7, 2023 at Anderson-Clayton Brothers Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Sunday October 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
