Terry R. Rhoads

Terry R. Rhoads, 75, of Bushnell, IL passed away on Friday August 23, 2024 at his residence. He was born on April 21, 1949 in Macomb, IL to Ralph and Joan (Stehl) Rhoads. He married Sue Ellen Draughan on June 24, 1973 in Bushnell, she preceded him in death on March 23, 2012. He later married Tammy Rhoads, she survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mendy (Aron) Sowers of Colchester, IL, Terri (Joshua) Mason of Seaton, IL, stepdaughter, Tiffany (Ty Cowin) Hall of Ipava, IL, stepson, Christopher Hall of Bushnell; 8 grandchildren; siblings, Carl Rhoads of Bushnell, Roger (Debbie) Rhoads Ladysmith, WI, Gary (Kerry) Rhoads of Macomb, IL, Kathy Foster of Beardstown, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sue Rhoads, and brothers Marion and John.
Terry was a Journeyman Pipefitter for over 40 years for Local 353. He enjoyed his work and the friends he made over the years. He loved spending time with his family, watching a good Western on TV, and lunches with his brothers, Carl and Marty.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday September 3, 2024 at the Bushnell Township Cemetery. Pastor Dave Scott will officiate.
