Terry Ruby Obituary
Terry Lynn Ruby was born on May 14, 1954, in Alhambra, California, to the late Donald and Frances (Carter) Carlson. She passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 70.
As Terry grew up, her family moved several times before moving to Burlington, WI, to be closer to family. In 1976, she married Leonard George Ruby at Bethel Baptist Church, and together, they built a life in Union Grove, raising three children. In 1988, they moved their young family to a hobby farm just outside town. The call of the Northwoods led them to move to Owen in 1998, and a few years later, they settled in Thorp.
A true homebody, Terry found joy in the simple comforts of home and treasured time with her family.
Terry is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Leonard Ruby; their children, Jesse Ruby (Christine), Jenny Meador (Gary), and Melanie Ruby (Mark Weiss); and her cherished grandchildren, Eddie and Evie Meador, Jase Schumann, and Amelia Ruby. She will also be remembered by other family members and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 9, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brainard Funeral Home (522 Adams Street, Wausau wi 54403)
