TERRY LYNN SCHUCK November 13, 1965 - March 15, 2025
Terry Lynn Schuck, was born on November 13, 1965 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, to the late Arthur E. Schuck and Betsey C. (Page) Schuck.
Terry grew up in Aurora, Indiana and had many great childhood memories.
He was a 1984 graduate of South Dearborn High School, Aurora, Indiana.
Shortly after graduation, Terry worked at a newspaper publisher then moved to Covington, KY for a short time, working at Val-Air car rental before moving to Florida in the late 1980's.
Living in the Tampa/Clearwater area, he became a barber/hair stylist and began his career at age 21.
Most of his career was spent working at ManTrap Salon, where many of his co-workers became like Family.
There was a short time Terry spent working as a Hair Instructor at Sunset Academy, Clearwater, FL, then returning to ManTrap Salon to continue his career and retire when he moved back to his hometown of Aurora, IN.
Living "back home", Terry enjoyed being closer to longtime friends and family members that lived nearby, along with those who visited from out of town. This also gave him the ability to spend more time with his parents before their passing.
His mother, Betsey, thoroughly enjoyed having Terry live just a short distance away.
Terry loved nature and animals from the time he was a child. Throughout his lifetime, he had several animals as pets ranging from dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and ferrets. He also had fish ponds, which he enjoyed spending hours watching the fish, frogs and birds that would visit. Terry also had a "green thumb" and enjoyed growing tropical and ornamental plants of all kinds.
His natural artistic talent enabled him to sketch beautiful pictures and was told by many that he should have been an artist by career.
Terry was a "TV enthusiast" and found his 75-inch television utterly satisfying. Once retired, he would stay up late to binge watch his favorites, enjoying many genres of movies and shows.
Terry was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit and quick wit. He had the most positive attitude during his cancer journey. To know him was to love him.
Terry succumbed to his battle with cancer at his home in Aurora, Indiana with family present on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
Terry is preceded in death by: David Merendo, mother, Betsey C. (Page) Schuck, father, Arthur E. Schuck, stepmother, Lily Schuck and brother-in-Law, Paul Beverly.
He is survived by his three Sisters, Betsey (Bill) McKee of Carlisle, KY, Brenda (Paul) Beverly of Osgood, IN, Bonnie (Bob) Cheatham of Moores Hill, IN, and one brother, Ron (Connie) Schuck of Newnan, Georgia; Along with many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. He was loved and will be deeply missed by all, including his cuddly feline, Greyson.
Private Graveside Services will be held at River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
