Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Gail T. Henson will begin at 10:00 on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverend George Warner and Reverend Kenneth Owen officiating. Interment rites will follow at Coker's Chapel Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Henson, age 86, of Meridian passed away on Sunday, October 5, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Gail was a long-time employee of Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a life-long member of Midway Baptist Church. To know Gail was to love her. She always had a smile on her face and an "I love you" to follow. She loved fellowshipping in the hall with her friends at Aldersgate, where there was much love, laughter, and food.
Survivors include her children, Karen Fisher (Randy) and Kerry Henson (Kimberly); grandchildren, Kristin Fisher and Ashton Stuart (Ashten); great-grandchild, Cooper Stuart; sister, Betty Clark (John); sisters-in-law, Jennie Watkins and Sandy Henson; brother-in-law, Gary Fisher; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Henson; her parents, A.B. and Jean Culpepper Thompson; and her sisters, Joyce Rogers and Janice Fisher.
Pallbearers will be Ashton Stuart, Arin Brackeen, Landon Brackeen, Christian Clark, Cade Clark, and Kevin Lee Henson, Jr..
