Obituary published on Legacy.com by Glancy H. Brown & Son Funeral Home on Dec. 30, 2025.
Terry Lynn Stafford, 75, of
Warren, Indiana, was reunited with the love of his life, his wife Shelly, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 when he passed away at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born on November 27, 1950 in
Wabash, Indiana.
Terry was a devoted truck driver for B&B Trucking for over 20 years and found great fulfillment behind the wheel of his "big truck." He enjoyed tinkering in the garage, working on cars, and watching westerns and NASCAR. But more than anything, Terry loved being home with the people he loved. A simple night gathered around the table with good food and laughter meant more to him than anything in the world.
His greatest joy in life was his wife, Michele "Shelly" (Maddock) Stafford. Terry adored her deeply, she was his partner, his comfort, and his very best friend. The two were married on May 19, 1989 in Warren, a day Terry always said was the greatest day of his life. Together, they built a beautiful, loving home and raised their children with patience, humor, and unconditional love. Terry was happiest when Shelly was nearby and his family was close.
Loving survivors include son Nathaniel Stafford (Heather), Auburn, IN and their children Kayla, Vince, Carissa, Bryanna, Dempsey, and Skylar; daughter Christie Stemen (Josh), Columbia City, IN and their children Erik, Kyle, and Trey; son Damien Stafford (Tracy), Columbia City, IN and their children Cole and Andrew; daughter Jennifer Judy (Brad), Greenwood, IN and their children Tye, Caleigh, and Dominic; daughter Mandy Bitzer,
Warren, IN; daughter JayKay Stafford (Richard),
Warren, IN and their children Elijaa, Cyson, and Decklynn; daughter Laura Stafford (Jeremy),
Warren, IN and their children Kaiden and Gabriel; several great-grandchildren; and sister Jamie Poor of North Manchester, IN.
Terry was especially proud of his children and grandchildren. He loved watching them grow, supporting their dreams, and reminding them how much they meant to him. His quiet strength, hugs, and soft, reassuring words will forever be remembered.
He was preceded in death by his mother Imogene (Stafford) Kerr; his beloved wife Shelly, who passed away on December 12, 2021; and son-in-law Jimmy Eichhorn on July 27, 2025.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren, on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 2–5 p.m. A service to celebrate Terry's life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Troy Drayer officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place beside his wife following services in Woodlawn Cemetery,
