Terry R. Stiely, 80, of Ridge Road, Klingerstown, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022, while visiting a hunting camp in Cross Forks.
He was born Sunday, Sept. 7, 1941, in Klingerstown, a son of the late Lawrence E. Stiely and the late Lillian E. (Williard) Stiely.
He was a 1959 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
Terry served in the Army.
He retired from ABF Freight, Carlisle.
Terry was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown. He was also a member of Teamsters Local 776, Harrisburg; F&AM Lodge 797, Valley View; Valley View Gun Club; and the Klingerstown Fire Company.
He is survived by his wife, Marcelle E. (Coleman) Stiely, to whom he was married for 59 years.
He is also survived by two sons, Todd R. Stiely, of Valley View, and Michael S. Stiely and his wife, Holly, of Halifax; five grandchildren, Cory Stiely, Logan Stiely, Kelsey Stiely, Shavon Stiely and Janelle Stiely; three sisters, Peggy Brosius, of Leck Kill, Nancy Schaeffer, of Klingerstown, and Doris Witmer, of Dalmatia; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2022, at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev. Pat Wirick officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Condolences can be left for the family at www.buffingtonreed.com.
