Terry L. Stodola, 69 years, of Fremont, Neb., passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Nye Legacy in Fremont, Neb.
Terry was born on February 4, 1957 to LeRoy and Mary Ann (Labenz) Stodola in Fremont. He grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1973.
Over the years, Terry met Anna Hammond and the couple became engaged. She passed away on December 12, 1994.
Terry was employed in the Grain Industry most of his life. In his free time, his favorite hobby was woodworking.
He also enjoyed drawing, puzzles, and spending time along the Platte River.
Terry was a past member of the Fremont Vol. Fire Department and the Isaak Walton.
He is preceded in death by his parents; fiancé, Anna Hammond; and his dog, Hank.
He is survived by sister, Sherry (Brian) Wiese; brothers, Larry (Patty) and Gary (Zoann) Stodola; nieces, Melissa Stodola, Rudi (Nate) Neuberger, Charlee (Kyle) Bierman, Tabitha (Kyle) Kern, and Toni Wiese and fiancé, Austin O'Kane; nephew, Jeremy (Robin) Stodola; friend, Amber Sorenson; six great-nieces and four great-nephews; and Anna's children, Jodi and Cody Hammond.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2026 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Moser's. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.
