Terry Templet "Stump" Obituary
Terry Paul Templet "Stump" passed away February 27, 2025 at his home in Sorrento, Louisiana. Born on March 22, 1947, he had a love for rabbit hunting, coaching, LSU Baseball, St. Amant football and family. Terry proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1967-1969. He later went to work for American Industrial Fabricators where he retired in 2016. Terry is survived by his wife of 57 years Claudette Templet, daughter Chrissy Templet (Rodney), son Terry Templet (Michelle), 2 grand daughters Kamden and Jillian Templet, 2 great- grandchildren Elijah and Emberly; one sibling, Sherri Lambert and four sister n laws Monica Mendoza, Rose, Joyce and Joanette Templet. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Omer and Carrie Templet; a son, Damon Templet; brothers Curtis and Jerry Templet, sisters Jimmy Leblanc and Judy Sanchez. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at St. Anne's Catholic Church 7348 Main Street Sorrento, LA 70778, 8am - 10am with services starting at 10:00. Burial to follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, St. Amant, LA.
