Terry Keith Thompson, 73, passed away on April 11, 2024, at home in Cleveland, TN.
Terry was born on January 6, 1951 in Cleveland, TN, to David and Ann Thompson.
Terry married Lynda Hawkins. The couple had 4 children; Melissa Lane, Jim Giles, Brian Thompson, and Rosie Shope.
Terry was best known for his love of God, his dogs, and maintaining his lawn. He always had a smile on his face to share with everyone, and the best hugs.
Terry is survived by Brian Thompson (Celeste) - son, Melissa Lane - daughter, Jim Giles (Joy) - son, Rosie Shope (Ryan)- daughter, James Thompson (Jessica) -Grandson, Patrick Brown (Emily) - Grandson, Jeremiah Thompson - Grandson, Ethan Lane (Maggie) - Grandson, Cassidy Shope - Granddaughter, Emily Shope - Granddaughter, Great-grandchildren Lorelei and Luca Brown, Amalie Shields, Atlas, Anderson and Ava Joy Thompson and his siblings Vickie Thompson, Ricky Thompson, Diane Gates (George), Randy Thompson (Paula), Kim Thompson (Norma) and Russell Thompson (Brenda).
Terry is preceded in death by David Thompson - father, Ann Thompson - Mother, Lynda Denham - Ex-Wife, Andrew Malone - Grandson, Ryan Schwartz - Grandson, Zack Lorency - Grandson, Sandra Ledford - sister and Darlene Woods -sister.
Visitation for Terry Thompson will be held on April 18, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Companion Funeral Home with a short memorial service to immediately follow at 1:00 PM.
