Known affectionately to many as "Nana," Joana was born in 1952 in Brazil to Vitalino Patricio and Angela de Oliveira Correa. In 1971, she married Jerry Alden Bailey, beginning a lifelong journey filled with love, adventure, and unwavering commitment.
Joana's warmth, infectious laughter, and unconditional love brought joy to everyone around her. She found her greatest happiness in reading, tending to her beloved plants, and spending time with friends and family. A remarkable woman, she was known for her boundless kindness, her ability to befriend anyone she met, her vibrant sense of style and color, and her deep devotion to Yeshua and her extensive family. Her witty, colorful remarks delivered both laughter and profound truth, blessing all who shared her company. A woman of tremendous faith, Joana shared her beliefs and love for others with grace and humility. Her patience and enduring love shaped her family into the people they are today. We are forever grateful for every memory and moment we were privileged to share with her.
Joana was preceded in death by her parents, Vitalino Patricio and Angela de Oliveira Correa.
