Terry Eugene Wallin, 68 of Oglesby, IL died at home Saturday, January 31 st after a long battle with cancer.
Terry was born on October 27, 1957, in Spring Valley, IL to Kenneth Eugene Wallin and Donna Louis (Powell) Wallin. Terry was raised in Oglesby, IL graduating from LaSalle Peru High School in 1976.
He went on to work at Motor Wheel, and then IVCC, where he retired from in October 2023 as the Network Administrator.
In 1985, he married Lisa Miller of Oglesby, IL, whom he had two beautiful children with, Adam Michael Wallin and Ashley Rae Wallin.
In 2007, Terry met his best friend and partner, Janice (Lupori) Wallin. Together they blended a family with Janice's two daughters, Kate Elizabeth Sawyer and Kelly Elise Lupori-Ghantous.
Terry survived a double-lung transplant and heart bypass in 2018 to continue to do the things he loved: travel, computers, board games, riding his motorcycle, pets and spending time with his family.
Terry is survived by his wife, Janice Wallin of Oglesby; brother, Ray (Patty) Wallin of Oglesby; son, Adam Wallin of LaSalle; daughter, Ashley (Mike) Wallin of Oglesby; and stepdaughters, Kate (Joe) Sawyer of Midland, MI, and Kelly (Tony) Lupori-Ghantous of North Hollywood, CA. He is also survived by his six grandchildren Lily, Kaine, Kholton, Birdie, Auggie, and Pippa. Terry is also survived by his two nieces, Patricia Wallin of Oglesby, Jennifer Wallin of Oglesby; and a nephew, Brandon Wallin of Oglesby.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Donna Wallin.
Terry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
