Thad Bell Obituary
Thad is also survived by his mother, Thelma Decuir Bell and siblings Tom (Elaine), Thea (Doug), Thadria(Tony), Thatcher (Heather), Thurston, and Thaura - In-Laws Kathy (Jim), Mark (Meagan), Nancy Bruno - his nieces (3) and nephews (10).
Thad was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Bell Sr., his father-in-law Michael Bruno, his mother-in-law Linda Turner, his sister Thann Bell, and his brother-in-law John Jeffreys.
Thad's consistent knowledge-seeking, adventurous spirit took him to many parts of the world, bringing home his unique perspective. There is a great silence now without his humor, his laugh and his epic storytelling. One of his many talents was bringing others and himself into a state of chuckles.
Thad leaves a larger-than-life legacy of generosity and staunch loyalty amongst his beloved family and friends. Thad's big heart gifted his talents to many who crossed his path. A natural talent as a mechanical wizard, Thad enjoyed sharing his vision on many a rebuild classic or unique cars.
His big bear hugs will be missed as he ended his adventures much too soon. Vans shoes may even notice a dip in their checkered slip-ons sales.
A Celebration of Life for Thad will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA 30263.
