The John Teel

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Teel, who departed this life peacefully in the loving arms of his wife on October 15, 2025, at the age of 69. John was born on July 19, 1956 in San Jose, California to Norma Teel. He grew up in Santa Clara, California with his three older brothers Robert, Leonard, and Arthur.

John was a dedicated and loving husband to his wife Karen who he adored for the 47 years they were married. A devoted father to his daughters Ashley Mackey (Shaun) and Alicia White (Josh) and proud grandfather "Poppy" to five grandchildren: McKinzie, Haleigh, Alaina, Blake, and Mason. He was also a great grandfather to Rhegan who had him wrapped around her little finger.

As a veteran of the US Navy, John served his country with honor and integrity. After his military career, he became an engineer at Lockheed Martin where he was a loyal employee for 40 years.

John's legacy is one of integrity, wisdom, and love. His warm and calming presence was a source of comfort to those around him. His family invites all who knew him to a memorial service on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Cloverdale Funeral Home at 11:00 am.
