Ben Teel leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty and dedication to family. He is survived and missed, by his wife of 72 years, Diann Teel, and his children Debra Cameron, Brad Teel (Jane), and Denise Fuller (Dave). Forever cherished and remembered by his seven grandchildren, Michael (Bailee), Brandon and Kevin Wade, Bradley Teel and Jordan Teel Dorchester (Austin), and Darah and Dawson Fuller. His memory will live on with his four great-grandchildren Madison Wade, Bowen and Briar Wade, and Elle Dorchester. Ben is preceded in death by his father Robert B. Teel, and mother Mary Eva Teel, and his siblings Evaleen Penwell, Leo Teel, and Arnell Groom. Ben was born and raised in Canton, Texas. After graduation and serving in the Navy, he spent his career in military defense designing missiles for Texas Instruments and Raytheon. He had a brilliant mind that understood how everything worked and was capable of building or repairing anything. He had a green thumb and numerous hobbies, including music (playing in a band with his brother, Leo), refurbishing cars and boats, creating metal sculptures, travel, RVs, and raising and racing Roller pigeons, including a Fort Worth Stock Show Grand Champion. He loved God, his family and friends, and spending time with his grandchildren gave him great joy. His "Happy Place" was their vacation home on Cedar Creek Lake. He and his wife Diann were the glue that brought their family and friends together. Countless weekends were spent at the lake entertaining family and friends. He lived life to the fullest through the 93 years he had on this earth and as a Christian (a long-time member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church), he is no doubt with his Savior now. Thank you so much for the love, support, prayers and kindness that have been lavished on our family during this sorrowful time.
