Dear Rowley Family: I had the great fortune to know Bob in Navy JAG in the early 70's and in the early 80's in Honolulu after he had entered the priesthood. He was a wonderful man and i remember him fondly. I am saddened by his loss.

May Bishop Rowley rest in peace and rise in glory. I served as a priest in the Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania from 1986-1991 and had great appreciation for the deep, biblical, yet down to earth spirituality of Bishop Rowley. May his family find comfort in his legacy of love and service and knowing that he lives now with the Lord he knew and served so well.

To Robert's family and friends,

Although extremely smart, gifted and esteemed, as a citizen of the world, Bob was selflessly giving and a friend, loving to all he met. We are all much richer for knowing him, he will never be replaced. My sympathies to his family.

Being an usher for the York Revolution has given me the opportunity to meet some very nice people. Bob was one of them. He was quiet and reserved, but had a great sense of humor. Section 15 will never be the same. I will miss him.
Please accept my condolences.
