Thelma Rose (Kelley) Campbell, 63, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2025. She was active in children's ministry, and dedicated helpmate of her husband Evangelist Mark Campbell. Thelma was a loving and devoted wife, mother, friend of many, and sister of the Lord.
Thelma was a homemaker most of her life. She began working at Hospitality House in the early years of her marriage before taking time off to raise her children. She later returned to working at the Iron Pit Gym in her later years.
Born April 7, 1962, to Homer Daniel and Sarah Margaret (Benson) Kelley. She was later adopted by Donald and Linda Crowder. Thelma is survived by her husband Rev. Mark Campbell, her son Mark Daniel Campbell, and daughter Malissa Ann (Adam) Jones, her sisters Ethel (Donald) Warner Biggs, Amanda (Robert) Cook, Charlotte Jones, her brothers Rick (Megan) Kelley, Donald (Erin) Crowder, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Clyde and Leona Campbell, and brother in-laws Dennis Warner and Chuck Jones.
Visitation will be at Knightridge Pentecostal Church, 3775 S. Knightridge Road, Bloomington, Indiana on October 24, 2025 from 10 AM to 1 PM with service following at 1 PM. Presiding minister will be Pastor Tom Rhodes.
Thelma will be buried at the Salt Creek Cemetery located across the road from the church.
Allen Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Condolences and memorial donations go to the family to help with expenses.
