Thelma Christy Obituary
Thelma was born on January 28, 1934, in Titusville to the late Marion Lee and Thelma Irene Dailey Clark. She married Rev. James C. Christy on September 14, 1955, in Titusville. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1993 in St. Louis, MO.
She was a graduate of Pleasantville High School, Class of 1952.
Thelma was a member of the Oil City Wesleyan Methodist Church and had attended the Titusville Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Thelma is survived by her children, Gayle Christy of Titusville, Nancy Hill and husband Jack of O'Fallon, MO, Robert Christy and wife Rene of Pleasantville, and Sherri Gifford and husband Steven of Salem, OH; seven grandchildren, Carrie Hill and Jackee Hill, both of St. Peters, MO, Emilee Hill of Overland Park, KS, Aaron Hill and wife Lexi of De Pere, WI, Amber Hill of Madison, WI, R.J. Christy and wife Ashleigh of Rocky Grove, PA, and Austin Christy and wife Sarah of Pleasantville; 7 great grandchildren, Eleanor, Leo, Livi, Mae, Mylo, Sophia and Wiley; her sister, Carol J. Clark of Pleasantville; and close friends, the Bruce Williams family.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Scott Bennett officiating.
Interment will be at Jerusalem Corners Cemetery.
