Thelma E. "Mitzi" Herrick, 92, of Brook Park, Ohio, passed away on August 25, 2025. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 31, 1932, Mitzi was the cherished daughter of the late John and Thelma Hafner. Mitzi was the beloved wife of the late Thomas M. Herrick, Sr., with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and devotion. Together, they built a family rooted in faith, warmth, and togetherness. She is survived by her loving son Thomas M. (Cheryl) Herrick Jr.; her grandchildren Thomas D. (Sarah) and Kristen (Kirk); and her great-grandchildren David and Jade. Mitzi also leaves behind her brother John (Linda) Hafner and sister-in-law Diane. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Sr., and her brother Ray. Mitzi lived a vibrant life filled with joy and community. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, golfing, and playing cards-always up for a friendly game and a good laugh. Her faith was a guiding light, and she remained deeply active in her church, Christ United Methodist, where she found purpose, fellowship, and peace. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at: Sunset Chapel 6245 Columbia Rd North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel.
