LIMA -- Thelma "Tammy" Stelzer, 67, passed away at 7:46 p.m. on February 15, 2026, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Thelma was born on November 19, 1958, in Lima, Ohio, to the late William and Thelma (Brown) Keith. On July 14, 1979, she married David Stelzer, who survives in Lima.
Thelma earned a Business Certificate at Northwestern Business College and worked as a Medical Assistant at Gastrointestinal Associates where she retired. She enjoyed traveling to The Smokey Mountains and Buccee's.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Elizabeth "Beth" Stelzer and Heather Stelzer; siblings, Billy (Annis) Keith, Cora "Kathy" Schultz, Shirley (Michael) Meeks and Tom Keith; sister-in-law, Jill (Dan) Brown; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Millie Fisher.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tim Schultz; and her father and mother in law, Howard and Beverly Stelzer.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Brad Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National MS Society.
