Theodore F. "Ted" Batdorff, 91, of Palmyra, died Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center.

He was the husband of Carol H. (Hollinger) Batdorff, to whom he was married 70 years on March 12, 2025.

Born in Kenhurst, PA on December 8, 1933, he was a son of the late Theodore F. and Helen S. (Wagner) Batdorff.

A member of Myerstown UCC, Ted served in the US Army. He was employed as an HVAC Mechanic at Bayer Corp., Myerstown, retiring after 32 years of employment. Ted was a charter member of the Myerstown Jaycees; enjoyed biking and skiing, as well as traveling, family time and spoiling his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Suzanne, wife of William Upton, of Quentin; grandchildren, Morgan Rhoades, wife of Steven, of Manchester, PA, and Matthew Berger; and a great grandson, Carter Rhoades, of Manchester. He was preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Laudenslager, Dorothy Falck, and Fern Patrick.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA, preceded by a visitation beginning at 10 a.m.

Final services are private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Myerstown UCC, 101 E. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067.
