Theodore Eddie "Ed" Bunch

Theodore Edwin Bunch, Jr., 75, of Spencer, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 26, 2025, after spending a memoral Christmas with his family. Ed was born in Bloomington, Indiana on July 17, 1950 to Theodore E. Bunch, Sr. and Phyllis (Meadows) Bunch. Ed graduated from Bloomington High School and joined the United States Army where he served during the Vietnam Conflict. He married the love of his life, Debra Sue (Rood) Bunch on September 13, 1969. He was a longtime member of Turning Point Apostolic Church in Ellettsville, Indiana. Ed loved to worship the Lord, garden and tinker on different things.
Ed is survived by his children, Theodore Edwin (Carrie) Bunch, III, Angela Dawn Bunch, grandchildren, Theodore E. "Teddy" Bunch, IV, Skyanne Carpenter, Zakry Culler, great-grandchildren, Ella Collins, Spencer Harshaw, brother, Chris (Vicky) Bunch and many extended family members and friends.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Debra Sue, sister, DeDee Bohall and brother-in-law, Steve Bohall.
A graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Owen County, Indiana. Brother Ron Hawkins will officiate. A military graveside service will be performed by the Owen County Honor Guard.
Friends and family may come at 12:00 PM until the time of service at the cemetery on Tuesday.
