Theodore Jason Heino, 33, of Spooner, passed away on October 15, 2022.
Ted, who also went by Theo, was born on May 24, 1989, in Menomonie, Wisconsin, to Brett and Annette Heino. Spooner became his home in August of 2000.
Ted graduated from Spooner High School in 2007 and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy.
Ted was a voracious reader. From childhood through his life, he has always had a huge inventory of books. He was drawn to books of faith, religion, philosophy and history. One of his favorite pastimes was to have deep, philosophical discussions on politics and religion. He never minded if you disagreed, since it gave him the opportunity to engage you in a debate that could last for hours. He had a gift for retaining information. He loved cats and dogs, hiking, attending operas, classical music, cooking, playing cards, conversing in Spanish and most of all, spending time with his extended family. His jokes and deep belly laughs will be greatly missed.
Ted is survived by his parents, Brett and Annette Heino, his siblings, Kate (David), Amanda and Alex; beloved grandparents Bob and Ellen Reiter; paternal grandfather, Bill Heino; his special aunt Terri Reiter; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mae Heino, who he never had the opportunity to meet; adored great-grandmother Emma Hansen; great-grandparents George Hansen and Matt and Evelyn Reiter.
