So sad to have heard of Ted's passing. He was one of the smartest people I've known, and once helped save my life.

Ted was a great person. Helped keep spirits up while also providing some good sound logic or advice, work or life related didn't matter which. For those of you that don't know we worked in a building with no windows to the outside world. He helped bring in some sunshine and I'm eternally grateful to have had the chance to meet and learn from such an outstanding individual. He always knew the little intricacies of the things he was passionate about and I could always see that little twinkle in his glasses when he was excited. I'll look for that twinkle the stars good sir. I'll see you again, but not just yet.

My heartfelt sympathies on the loss of Theodore. He was a well respected leader within the Navy Reserves and his loss was felt across the Navy community. He was a dedicated sailor and I am forever grateful there are people like him who answer the call to serve this country. He "stood the watch" for many years, and his service to his country is an example to all.
Fair winds and following seas, Chief Jackson. We have the watch.
Warmest Regards,
Joshua Rich

I was very sad to hear about Ted's passing. He and I served together in the SOCEUR Navy Reserve Unit and went to Stuttgart, Germany together several times. My favorite memory with him was when he showed me around all the Christmas markets both in Stuttgart and the surrounding communities. Rest in peace, brother. We have the watch.

Hearing of Chief Jackson's passing was absolutely heartbreaking. I had the pleasure of serving with ITC for a quick stint prior to mobilizing to Afghanistan and then again while working at USSOCOM. He carried with him a passion not only for service and country, but he also genuinely cared for his sailors and people in general. He was a kind hearted soul that will never be forgotten. Shipmate, we have the watch. Fair winds and following seas my friend.
