Sister Beth LeValley

I met and was so impressed with Dr. Oates several years ago when he was taking care of one of our sisters. He was SO honest about her situation - he did not know - and I was SO impressed. Later when on Rochester Regional Board I happened to meet him in the hall and spoke glowingly about how he had affected me in that situation. Reading the fine stories about him, I realized I had touched, been touched by, albeit so briefly, his life gift/his fine personhood.I am sorry for your loss, the community’s loss. Whit (and Ruthanne) send our sincere condolences. It sounds like TK led a fulfilling life with a loving family and many thankful patients.
We knew TK from Duke where the "roomies" that Spencer mentioned in an earlier message included TK, Spencer, Gus, Rich, Andy, Fred, Stan and Whit. TK was great as a "roomie" although he was adamant that only he could use the single car garage for his beloved Corvette. Wishing now that we 8 "Dookies" had kept up better with each other.

Checking to see what he was up to, I found that he had passed; one of my 5 "roomies" from Duke. I wonder how many of us are left.

Sending our deepest sympathy and thoughts to Anne and the family.
T.K. was a "special Beach Buddy"! We so enjoyed him & Anne in Summers shared in Ocean City. Loved when the "Grans"
were there and the family interaction.
Loving thoughts to all,
Jack & Dottie

T. K.'s smile lit up a room! Although we only knew him for a short time while living in Illinois, we so enjoyed his energy, his friendliness, his stories and his love of music. He was very special in every way!
