LIMA -- Theodore "Ted" Kaser Sr., 85, of Lima, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Springview Manor in Lima.
He was born on May 30, 1940 in Lima to the late Eugene and Juanita {Wires} Kaser. On April 23, 1960 he married Sharon Lynn {Ireland} Kaser, who survives in Lima.
Ted worked at Commercial Lovelace Motor Freight. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Guardians.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Darryl (Michelle) Kaser and Theodore "Ted" (Cheryl) Kaser Jr., grandchildren: Nathan, Gene, Katherine, Michael, Mark, Steven, Alaine, Zachary, Anthony, and Megan, and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters: Margaret, Barbara, and Beverly.
A funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima. Fr. David Ross will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
