Theresa Jeanette Brogno Brochu (89) passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2024 in Woodstock, Ga. Born October 27, 1935 in Norwich, Connecticut, she graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1953. She studied nursing at St. Francis School of Nursing and received her RN in 1956. She spent the next 46 years caring for people in that capacity. In retirement she pursued many hobbies including travel, entertaining, music, crafts and cooking. She loved spending time with family and friends and was always available for a lending hand, a caring act or sharing a beautiful bright smile. Left to miss her are her four children, Tracie (Allen) Fields, Hartwell; Ronald (Lucia) Brochu , Marietta; Dawne (Bruce) Gamble, Woodstock; Gail (Robert) Davison, Jefferson as well as her grandchildren Kris (Kelssie) Fields, Dylan (Kelli) Fields, Andreas (Liz Sourbeer) Brochu, Elisa (James) Synder, Alex Brochu, Kendall (Dylan Seyden)Gamble, Devon Gamble, and Amy Davison. She was further blessed with four great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters, Patricia Stanulonis and Eleanor Black. She was preceded in death by Patrick and Diana Brogno. A memorial service celebrating her life is planned for February 14th, 2025 at 11:00 am at Catholic Church of St. Ann, 4905 Roswell Road, Marietta, Georgia 30062. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s association in her memory.
