Theresa was born in Greenville, SC to the late James and Doris Brown.
Theresa was a giving person who felt the need to serve others. As a child she always wanted to be a nurse. As an adult she fulfilled that desire by going to college and getting a degree in nursing. She served in many capacities at Greenville Memorial Hospital and as a pediatric nurse in a private practice before retiring. Theresa attended Biltmore Baptist Church in Arden where she found strength through her faith and the many wonderful people in her group.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Howell; two sons, Benjamin Durham and Patrick Durham; a daughter, Tabitha Howell; a sister, Anita Price; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian in Arden.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests at your discretion that donations be made to Samaritanspurse.org or to your local Hospice.
