Theresa Paula Busby

Theresa Paula (Folk) Busby, 86, of Searcy, passed away on August 27, 2025. She was born on August 11, 1939, in the Coffeyville community to the late Robert and Laura "Daisy" (Evans) Folk. Theresa loved her family more than anything and always made them her priority. She will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her. Her family finds peace in knowing that Theresa has been reunited with her late daughter, Tawana Paulette Busby, whom she missed dearly. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dennis Busby (Jimmie), Tonya Busby-Roberts (Roy), and Allen Busby; grandchildren, Cayla, Greyson, Daniel, Jonah, Aaron, Eli, and Seth; great grandchildren, Everleigh, Piper, and Lola; one sister, Mary Ann Bell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Larry Busby; and daughter, Tawana Paulette Busby. Burial will take place at Coffeyville Cemetery near Bradford. A celebration of Theresa's life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10:00am, at 122 West Race Avenue, Searcy, Arkansas 72143.
