Theresa Kaye "Terry" Franks

Theresa "Terry" Franks, 81, of Jacksonville, Arkansas was born March 14, 1944 in Florence, South Carolina to the late William and Geraldine (Gunter) Deane, and passed away peacefully at home on October 20, 2025.

Terry was a multifaceted woman with a passion for life. A socialite at heart, she loved brunches, themed parties, and game nights. As a world traveler, she lived in Italy, Pakistan, and England, and explored much of the United States, the Caribbean, and Mexico. A gifted crafter, she made wreaths, flower arrangements, and holiday decorations, sharing her creations with family and friends.

However, what truly defined Terry was her servant's heart. She dedicated much of her life to giving-regularly donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, volunteering at Baptist Health Springhill, and raising her siblings, children, and granddaughters. She hosted family dinners where everyone was welcome, always with love and generosity.

Above all, Terry was proud of her family and cherished her role as a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Her presence in their lives will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Kelly (Jeremy) Tate, Scott Franks, and Danny McLaughlin; grandchildren, Willow and Autumn Franks; siblings, Donna Skulman Loyd, Sharron Malloy, Paula Deane Turner, and William "Craig" Deane; along with numerous other extended family and friends.

A mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at St. Jude's the Apostle Catholic Church, 2403 McArthur Dr, Jacksonville, Arkansas. There will be a memorial luncheon to follow at the church.
